“Everyone says that Novosvetlovka has been liberated. No one is saying that fierce fighting has been going on there for three days,” he said on TVi.
“Gratitude to the helicopter pilots who came to the rescue today. One helicopter was shot down. We do not know about the fate of the crew. They are the only ones who came to our aid, because we were squeezed specifically from three sides. We need not only artillery and Grad, but also manpower. We are holding these positions, but we have a lot of wounded... There are clouds of them leaving, and there are about 80 of us there,” said the Aidar fighter.
As Navigator reported, the Aidar battalion is suffering heavy losses: last night it was ambushed near Lugansk, as a result of which at least 22 soldiers were killed and another 36 were injured.
