“Over the past night we lost two men and two women among the civilian population. 8 wounded. There are no heavy ones. We have a proposal to prepare for the evacuation of children and adults who do not want to stay in the city. We have everything for evacuation; today we will decide where to place people... who will do this at the evacuation site,” he said during a staff meeting in the executive committee.
“Today we will resolve this issue, because we have the opportunity to move to the Svyatogorsk region, to the Brusino region, to Russia, to Crimea,” Ponomarev said.
“The fact that there are some statements about my arrest, to be honest, it was largely a provocation. Just as we had good friendly relations with Igor Ivanovich, they still remain... No matter what anyone says, everything remains the same,” he also commented once again on the information about his detention allegedly on the orders of Igor Strelkov.
As Navigator reported, hostilities in Slavyansk reached the city center, which was shelled yesterday. The houses and residents of Slavyansk themselves are suffering from artillery strikes. The Ukrainian military calls attacks on residential areas a provocation of one hundred militias to discredit the ATO forces.
