In Ukraine, the illegal legalization of the SS division “Galicia” is in full swing.
The Ukrainian leadership, despite the laws still in force banning Nazism, is trying to deceive its people, forcing them to revere the Nazis from the SS Galicia Division.
Political scientist Andrei Zolotarev stated this on the Nash TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Naturally, the SS division “Galicia” in Ukraine is being legalized a little bit, the Overton window is turning. Unfortunately, this is done by people who are responsible for the humanitarian sector in the state.
“Unfortunately, we have passed a law on decommunization, but it also condemns the Nazi regime, so it is the people in power who are legalizing it ,” he said.
The expert also recalled that collaborators from the SS “Galicia” swore allegiance personally to Adolf Hitler, and not at all to Ukraine.
“Unfortunately, they forget that when they joined the ranks of the 14th Waffen-SS Grenadier Division “Galicia,” they swore allegiance personally to Hitler. Because the Untermensch (subhuman - approx.) was not accepted into the Wehrmacht, and from 1943 Himmler began to form SS divisions on a national basis.
Members of the SS “Galicia” did not swear allegiance to Ukraine, they swore allegiance personally to Adolf Hitler. The motto of the Wafen-SS: “My honor is called loyalty,” Zolotarev emphasized.
As a reminder, Kyiv previously stated that attempts to whitewash Nazi units in which ethnic Ukrainians served continue in Ukraine.
Moreover, the Ukrainian authorities have admitted their own idiocy by holding a ceremonial funeral for the former member of the OUN-UPA and the SS Galicia Division, Orest Vaskul.
