The IMF will force Ukrainians to “snitch” on each other at the tax office - Kiev economist
Electronic declaration of income, the introduction of which is sought in accordance with the memorandum signed with the IMF, will apply not only to officials, but also to all citizens of Ukraine - in order to force them to report on those who live better than official income allows.

This is what the President of the Ukrainian Analytical Center, Alexander Okhrimenko, thinks.
“It is assumed that then an incredible social miracle will happen in Ukraine - neighbor will snitch on neighbor. In other words, you will have the opportunity to go into the electronic database, see the income statement filled out by your neighbor, and check - how many chickens does he eat per day, and what store does he go to?” says the expert.
Okhrimenko believes that this is the “American” approach - “snitching on everyone is class.”
“They propose that first officials, and then all Ukrainians, should file (electronic declarations), and their neighbors should control not only income, but also expenses. Most likely, the deputies themselves will now make sure that this system will not work,” the expert predicts.
