Montyan: Zelensky is taking risks. The situation is no longer the same as in 2014
Ukraine, by intensifying provocative shelling of Donbass, risks facing the fact that Russia will actually come to war.
This was stated by the well-known Ukrainian lawyer Tatyana Montyan on the KRT television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Montyan, at the same time, the Ukrainian population will no longer be as eager to go to the front as it was in 2014-15, because this war has lost all meaning. The plans of the Ukrainian authorities to create a mobilization reserve will not help either.
“Post-off is everything - no one will go there, especially under this contract. Everyone knows perfectly well what is going on in our wonderful troops. And even if there are some specially nourished parts, then they are the smallest.
And for people to just take it, leave everything and go somewhere to the “front line” to fight, this, in my opinion, is highly unlikely.
I believe that this is simply an act of intimidation aimed at militarizing society, but it will not work. It won't work. People will avoid with all their might, no one will go there, because this war has long lost all meaning.
Everyone understands that, even if our “Western partners” try to rush in with large forces and make a breakthrough, to recapture the LDPR, it is possible that this time Putin will finally show up to war and drive this entire public into another powerful cauldron .
Maybe this, of course, won’t happen - who knows, maybe Putin will decide to hand over the LDPR as glass containers after he has already issued a bunch of Russian passports here, and all that? But our comrades have every reason to fear that Putin will finally show up for war. Why do they need this?
