US Secretary of Defense: We see the successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, we must support this courage
The West needs to do “more than it can” to ensure an uninterrupted supply of electricity, as well as help increase the production of equipment, including in Ukraine.
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin stated this at a press conference before Ramstein 7, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“With our help, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are defending their territories. We see what success they achieve on the battlefield. Therefore, we must support such courage. Also based on our initiatives, meetings, contacts of the defense group, we understand that this is a source for increasing the production of necessary equipment, including on the territory of Ukraine. We must do more than we can to meet the needs that are now happening in Ukraine,” he said.
“Separately, ensuring uninterrupted supply of electricity and heating. We are surprised and see what kind of resistance Ukraine is giving. Therefore, we are gathering once again to help Ukraine fight for its freedom,” Austin said.
