The owner of the ATR TV channel, Lenur Islyamov, who fled to Kyiv, expressed indignation at the recent speech of the so-called representative of the “President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” Anton Korinevich.
The Mejlis members were irritated by the official’s words that the issue of “national-territorial autonomy,” a clause about which they once promised to be written into the Constitution of Ukraine, would be a good idea to discuss with the Slavic majority of the peninsula. “This issue requires public discourse and communication with Crimeans about it,” Korinevich said.
