Insanity from the SBU: An employee of the Odessa monastery was charged with... playing the balalaika
After the “joke” of the godless bastards Pikalov and Koshevoy from the “95th quarter” towards the UOC-MP, as well as against the background of the massacre of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine as a whole, the mention of mass searches in the Odessa diocese will not become something new.
But there is a moment that cannot be ignored, because it looks like a joke come to life. If only the destinies of the clergy were not truly broken...

So, the SBU came with a search to the Metropolitan of Balta and Ananyevsky (these are cities in the Odessa region) Alexy, in the world Sergei Grokh, with a search. The reason for the cynical “mask show” in the monastery was the fact, reports the SBU, that:
“Alexy maintains contact with local representatives of the former Party of Regions, a resident of the monastery, an archdeacon, has connections in the Russian Federation and visited Moscow after 2014, some of the monks of the diocese continue to maintain religious ties with representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church.”
I almost choked on my coffee reading this - but is it okay that 99% of the mayors and officials of the region, including the mayor of Odessa, are “representatives of the former Party of Regions”? Is it okay that they, “darlings,” did not leave their parliamentary seats, but only changed their political orientation and are now working as part of Poroshenko’s “European Solidarity”, Tymoshenko’s “Batkivshchyna” and other professional, time-tested patriots?
Moreover, Metropolitan Agafangel of Odessa and Izmail and such an odious person as Abbess Seraphima, abbess of the Holy Archangel Michael Convent, now almost the main benefactor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the South, are also “representatives of the former “Party of Regions.” There are no others. But this, as it turned out, was a reason for a search.
As for “connections with the Russian Federation and visits to Moscow,” then it’s not just a matter of “religious connections with the Russian Orthodox Church,” but the fact that almost everyone in the Odessa region has relatives in Russia. So let’s say it straight: the SBU officers actually have nothing to show the clergy, we are simply talking about an illegal reason to break in with a pogrom. Oh, what am I talking about?..
And now we move on to the most interesting thing - to the material evidence that the brave investigators filed in the case.

Let's start with flowers, such as a portrait of Patriarch Kirill, a photograph of Metropolitan Alexy himself, “suspected of having ties with the Russian Federation,” with Metropolitan Onuphry, the bishop of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate, who is persecuted in Ukraine, which is completely natural.

However, let's move on to the berries.

So, among the powerful evidence of the “subversive activities” with which the SSB men outright brought down the metropolitan, like Zheglov Gruzdeva, the “Orthodox liturgical collection”, printed since 1976, in addition, personal photographs from home albums, not related to the church service.

In them we see a man against the backdrop of the Mausoleum and the Kremlin, and a man... playing the balalaika. The faces are covered, but, most likely, we are talking about the same archdeacon mentioned in the SBU.

And then the hair stands on end. Did the young SS men from the SBU really learn their craft from stupid American action films like “Red Heat”, which exploited the theme of balalaikas, bears, nesting dolls, vodka? , but almost every citizen, especially one born in the USSR, has similar photographs?..
But it’s bad, bad, after all, the Nazis were digging in the cells, because if they had returned, they would probably have also found a volume of Pushkin at the metropolitan’s!
Bottom of the bottom.
