The ex-commander of the Aidar battalion, Sergei Melnichuk, was included in the electoral list of the Radical Party Oleg Lyashko at the request of the former head of the administration of President Yanukovych, and now one of the leaders of the Opposition Bloc, Sergei Lyovochkin.

Oleg Lyashko himself told the Kyiv magazine “New Time” about this.
“There was a condition that they give us access to Inter, and we take Melnichuk on the list,” Lyashko said.
At the same time, the publication notes that “he does not want to discuss the details of his cooperation with Lyovochkin,” and Melnichuk himself claims that he “does not know about such agreements.”
As a reminder, Melnychuk's expulsion from the Lyashkiv faction was followed by a brawl in the parliamentary hall, which continued in the corridors of parliament. The brawl resulted in 40 hryvnias in damage to the Verkhovna Rada press point .
