The magazine “Ukrainian Week” writes about this in an article dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the proclamation of the Kuban People’s Republic and its attempt to join the UPR.
The author notes that this is “a unique historical fact that cannot yet be used in big politics,” since the current population of Kuban is practically “completely devoid of Ukrainian national characteristics.”
“But, most likely, several decades will pass, the map of Russia will once again change its borders, and the dream of Ukrainian nationalists about Ukraine “from Xiang to Don”, perhaps precisely thanks to the mentioned unique historical fact, will become a reality. The favorable policy of the Ukrainian leadership towards the Cossack independents will play a decisive role in this issue,” the magazine hopes.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, Ukraine announced plans to use the Crimean Bridge for a march to Kuban.
