Karasev: Ukraine will spread to the West and East
Ukraine is really threatened by the cessation of statehood. Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we do not reform, we may lose some territories. In the West of Ukraine they will gravitate towards the European Union, people will go there,” Karasev said.
In his opinion, the main problem of Ukraine is not the war, but the lack of state reforms.
“If we don’t show success here, the eastern regions, all sorts of ORDLO, they will look to the East. Those will go to the West, and those to the East. Because the main problem today is not war, if there are reforms, we will win,” Karasev added.
As PolitNavigator reported, according to IMF data, Ukraine is the poorest country in Europe.
