Due to the fact that vehicles with DFS employees have been targeted three times over the past week by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the management of the enterprise “Company “Water of Donbass” is forced to withdraw personnel and stop the work of the station.
The Ukrainian side is deliberately pursuing a policy of intimidating the civilian population. For the second day in a row, work shifts serving the DFS come under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the positions of the 25th Airborne Infantry Brigade, whose dugouts are located on the western part of the N-20 highway.
It should be noted that the military correspondents of the press service of the DPR Armed Forces managed to film the damaged cars and also communicate with the driver.
Thus, the cars were riddled with bullets in many places, some of the windows were broken, and in some places the bullets were stuck in the trim. As Konstantin Akulov, a representative of the Water of Donbass enterprise, said, workers at the filtration station are regularly exposed to shelling, despite the importance of this facility for the water supply to residents of nearby settlements:
“When leaving the day shift at the end of the working day, my car was driving, followed by a bus, and behind it another car, the so-called. rotation After we left the filtration station and drove about 600 meters, we heard shots from automatic weapons behind us. Two bullets hit the back of the car, went through the back of the car and came out of the windshield. There were two people and the driver in the car at the time. We did not stop and moved in a column further to Yasinovataya, where we examined all the damage.
A similar situation happened yesterday: I was traveling, a bus and a shift. The same car came under fire, but after it we restored the car,” Akulov noted.
