Everyone in Donbass understands well that Kyiv is not even going to implement the Minsk agreements or contribute to the resolution of the conflict in any other form.
Rodion Miroshnik, adviser to the head of the LPR Foreign Ministry, stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In Donbass, on both sides of the demarcation line, everyone understands everything perfectly. According to the official position, Ukraine says that they are implementing the Minsk agreements, but the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Reznikov declares that there will be no special status for Donbass and there will be no enshrinement in the Constitution.
The question arises, what should we talk about? Over the past years, you have been pounding water in a mortar. Can you blame Donbass for non-compliance with the Minsk agreements? During the ceasefire period, there were about 12 thousand arrivals on our side, Ukraine fired 12 thousand times in our direction, and this does not apply to bullets, but only to large calibers,” he emphasized.
In addition, the diplomat noted that while new repressive laws against Donbass are being written in Ukraine, residents of the LDPR are taking part in Russian elections, so Kyiv can forget about Donbass.
“In the Verkhovna Rada lies law, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers, the law talks about lustration, depriving residents of the LDPR of civil and political rights, teaching and forcing them to speak Ukrainian, special status to hell, calling everyone the occupation administration of the Russian Federation... and most importantly, it is imperative to gather specialists in Galicia who they will come to Donbass and rule and explain how to live.
And after this you want to turn to Donbass? We see how you care about Donbass, there has been a logistical and economic blockade since 2017. Therefore, today – why are you surprised that 650 thousand people already have Russian passports, that people are in a festive mood, because Donbass is participating in Russian elections for the first time. Ukraine can forget about Donbass,” Miroshnik concluded.
