The head of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs spoke about the situation in the new territories
Internal affairs bodies in the new regions of the Russian Federation carry out an enhanced version of the service.
Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev announced this today in the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I want to say right away that the situation is difficult, but controllable. We have deployed 15 consolidated police detachments in these regions, including those from other regions, at the expense of employees who completed their career training in the units of the temporary operational group of troops in the regions of the North Caucasus. The personnel were transferred to an enhanced version of duty. They carry out inspection activities to control the movement of vehicles, check the current regime in these territories, check citizens, fight sabotage groups and do everything in their power to protect the population of these regions,” Kolokoltsev said.
According to him, the staffing level of the internal affairs bodies should be 52 thousand people. Temporary departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia have been formed in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. Freelance units have been deployed in the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.
It is planned to create two ministries of internal affairs in the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics and two main departments of internal affairs - in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, as well as about one hundred territorial bodies at the district level.
