Europe is turning into a global backwater - ex-deputy of the Polish Sejm
The main problem of European states is vassal dependence on the United States.
Political scientist and former member of the Polish Sejm, Mateusz Piskorski, made this statement on the internet channel "Despite Censorship, " as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“From the Polish point of view, nothing has changed significantly. Parliamentary elections were held, as a result of which the neoconservatives who had been in power for the last eight years were replaced by the same pro-American neoliberals.
Of course, there are some changes taking place in Poland's domestic politics. Unfortunately, 2023 was a continuation of the deepest crisis facing the whole of Europe, including Poland.
This crisis is associated with the lack of an independent foreign policy. We see that the leading players in Europe, for example, Germany, do not have enough strength and determination to try to pursue an independent policy and not be subordinate to US interests,” Piskorski said.
He emphasized that at this rate, Europe will face serious unrest and decline.
“Economic indicators for 2023 show that Europe is sliding from the leading region in the world economy to the sphere of economic and social peripheries. The economic crisis will be accompanied by social unrest and social degradation of the entire continent,” the expert added.
