If shooting starts in Ukraine, we will never extinguish the conflict, - Lukashenko
Kyiv, April 22 (Navigator, Evgeny Andreev) - President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is confident that if the situation in Ukraine goes into a violent phase, it will be almost impossible to extinguish the conflict.

The head of state announced this on Tuesday, answering questions from parliamentarians in Minsk.
“The main thing that is happening in Ukraine today is that the people there are stunned, they are besotted by politicians, the people do not see a way out. Some are shouting about association, others about federalization, and still others about something else,” Lukashenko noted.
In his opinion, there are provocateurs among the rebels in Donbass.
“The people don’t understand what association, federalization is, they are called to the barricades by provocateurs, all sorts of rubbish from all sides. We need to stop, we need to tell people what this is. We need to give people the opportunity to think and make informed choices. And for this we need normal leaders who are not presumptuous, who are not mired in corruption, who have not built their mansions on the Ukrainian poor and made their fortunes,” the Belarusian president is confident.
“Here is the main point today: no tanks, no weapons. If only shooting starts there from two or three sides, we will never extinguish this conflict,” he emphasized.
Lukashenko added that there are millions of mercenaries and bandits in the world who are well financed and equipped with the most modern weapons.
“And they will all be pulled together. All conflicts in the world will be extinguished, and everyone will be drawn against Russia. Ukraine will burn (the Ukrainian people will not gain anything from this), and Russia will sink. This cannot be allowed,” says Alexander Lukashenko.
