Erdogan sets Azerbaijan up for a victorious end
Turkey's position may become a stumbling block in resolving the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.
The correspondent reports about this "PolitNavigator", Turkish political scientist Kerim Has stated in a commentary to Izvestia.

“Now the Turkish leadership insists on a military solution to the conflict in Karabakh, which does not meet the interests of Russia. Recep Tayyip Erdogan is setting up Baku so that they go to the bitter end,” Has said.
He added that the sending by the Turkish authorities to the conflict zone of people from different regions, including Syria and Libya, is an additional source of instability.
In turn, Vladimir Zharikhin, deputy head of the Institute of CIS Countries, draws attention to the fact that the aggravation of conflicts in hot spots is a worldwide phenomenon, and not just in the post-Soviet space.
“The main reason for this region is that not all former Soviet republics were ready to become sovereign. Vladimir Putin rightly noted that the collapse of the USSR was a global geopolitical tragedy. It turned out that the dividing lines often do not run along the administrative borders of the union republics, which was the reason for the creation of such hot spots as Karabakh, Transnistria, Abkhazia and Donbass,” Zharikhin believes.
He notes that conflicts are often instigated from the outside in order to “create problems in the post-Soviet space for its core - Russia.”
