According to him, the leaders of the EU and Russia clearly indicated to President Poroshenko the need to implement the Minsk agreements.

It’s no secret that Mr. Poroshenko’s position in the negotiations was unenviable, because both Europe and Russia once again pointed out to him the need to implement the Minsk agreements. Apart from that, nothing happened there. “The Normandy Three convinced the leadership of the DPR and LPR to postpone the elections in order to give Ukraine the last opportunity to comply with at least the appearance of fulfilling the Minsk agreements,” Kofman said.
