“In Mariupol they are calling for a rally against mobilization. I can calm everyone down. The situation is under the full control of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security Service of Ukraine. Everyone who comes to the rally against mobilization tomorrow will be detained for several hours to determine their identity, and after fingerprinting and photographing, they will be released for now,” said Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs, People’s Deputy Anton Gerashchenko.
He recalled that, together with MP Boris Filatov, he submitted a bill to introduce criminal liability for public calls to disrupt mobilization.
“This law is not directed against mothers who, with tears, see off their sons to defend their Motherland. It is directed against paid and unpaid provocateurs, as well as gullible fools who, on orders from the Russian special services, create panic and whip up hysteria in society. As soon as the Rada and the President support our law with Boris, all the provocateurs who called for disrupting the mobilization will be jailed,” he emphasized.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ivano-Frankivsk journalist Ruslan Kotsaba, who created an "anti-mobilization video" and called for the rejection of mobilization, was detained by the SBU.
