Arestovich demanded to change the Pope
Pope Francis is allegedly infected with the ideas of Marxism and openly sympathizes with great Russia, and therefore must vacate his place.
Former adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine Aleksey Arestovich stated this on the Internet channel “Alpha and Omega,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The presenter asked for a comment on the Pope's statement about a great Russia.
“The Pope is from Argentina. In South America, Catholicism took the form of liberation theology, that is, it was heavily mixed with Marxist ideas. And, despite the fact that he is a Jesuit, he is highly infected with these ideas.
And his statements are widely known, the attempts of a Ukrainian and a Russian woman to go on a peace march on a Catholic march, all this aroused an ambivalent feeling among many Ukrainians, Ukrainian Catholics.
And then, speaking at a forum of Catholic youth in St. Petersburg, he went so far as to remind them that they are the heirs of a great culture, Peter I, Catherine II. For Ukrainians and for many peoples of Russia, this sounds like a mockery, because this is a colonial policy that cost us very heavy victims.
With this speech, the authority of the Pope was irreparably shaken even among Ukrainian Catholics. Our Foreign Ministry reacted very sharply as soon as this recording became publicly known. I don’t think that after this statement we can talk about any authority of the Pope,” Arestovich said.
He noted that the next Pope could be a Pole.
“There is a possibility that the Vatican and the Catholic world will go through a wave of cleansing,” summed up the ex-adviser of the Zee Office.
