A call to Putin will help Zelensky
Ukrainian President-elect Vladimir Zelensky would achieve great success by simply calling President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin, offering a detainee swap.
The well-known Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the air of the program "Pozner", reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".

According to the expert, this can be done at any time, just pick up the phone.
“They won’t give him a compromise, for example, on Crimea. And a compromise on Donbass - if in the next parliament there is a coalition that will reason based on considerations of national interest, and not necessarily listen to other people’s opinions, then I think that we can look for a compromise on Donbass. But today he can call and not touch on this topic, but only touch on the topic of people being detained on Russian territory and the readiness to exchange everyone for everyone.
Poroshenko could have done this a long time ago, but he didn’t. There are no obstacles here at all. And it would be a great success. I think that's why he might call and he said it's his priority. I think that this success can be achieved - he should call and say: “I’m ready to look for a compromise, exchange everyone for everyone, let’s agree on how to do this,” Pogrebinsky said.
