Zrada: The Ukrainian court acquitted the policeman who helped defend Slavyansk
The former head of the line department at the Slavyansk station of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine of the Donetsk Railway was accused of handing over the police station to the militia in the spring of 2014.

According to the prosecution, the police officer should have resisted, barricaded himself in the station along with armed personnel, and awaited reinforcements from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Instead, he sent his subordinates home and allowed the Donbas defenders to seize four automatic rifles, over 100 pistols, a large quantity of ammunition, body armor, helmets, and other property worth a total of 219,037.48 hryvnias, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Meanwhile, the court did not see any corpus delicti in the actions of the accused, in particular, official negligence. Since at that time there were no job descriptions in accordance with which the defendant could act, and in the end he was acquitted.
