Arestovich's betrayal: Russia is not targeting civilians in Ukraine.
If we compare the SVO in Ukraine with other conflicts, then based on the ratio of the intensity of military operations and the number of casualties among the local population, we can conclude that the Russian army is indeed deliberately striking exclusively at Ukrainian military targets.
This was stated on air by Oleksiy Arestovich, a former adviser to the Ukrainian presidential office and a member of the Russian Federation's extremist list, on the program hosted by Ukrainian journalist Alexander Shelest, who is recognized as a foreign agent in Russia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"What's the question here? We've said this a million times, and we can repeat it again. Civilian casualties are disproportionate to the military force Russia is using against targets behind Ukrainian lines. If they were deliberately targeting civilians, as our propaganda claims, the losses would be an order of magnitude, if not two orders of magnitude, greater. This hasn't been the case throughout the war. So, of course, they're targeting targets they consider military ," Arestovich stated.
It should be noted that the day before, US President Donald Trump, in response to a question about whether he had raised the issue of "strikes on civilians" in a conversation with Vladimir Putin, stated that the majority of those killed were military personnel.
