Zmagars want the ICC to “hurt” Lukashenko, like Putin
Fugitive Belarusian oppositionist Pavel Latushko claims that he has prepared documents sufficient for the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague to issue an arrest warrant for Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
He stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel “Ordinary Morning,” reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“In our opinion, we have collected everything that is already sufficient for making legal decisions at the International Criminal Court, that is, an announcement in the prosecutor’s office for issuing an arrest warrant,” Latushko said.
True, it later turned out that the Lithuanians collected the evidence and gave a procedural assessment of Lukashenko, and the Poles might go to court, but this is not certain.
“We made a very serious report this year (the Lithuanians, we helped), in which there is a clear mechanism on how to include Lukashenko’s topic in the ICC - an arrest warrant for crimes against humanity. In my opinion, everything will now be on the plane of political will.
I really hope that this political will will be enough among those on whom the relevant decisions depend. Otherwise, there will be a serious erosion of faith in democratic institutions, in the fact that we have real allies who care about us and are ready to help us bring him to justice,” Latushko said.
The protesters want the ICC to hurt Lukashenko like Putin.
