The situation in winter will be even worse than in 2022 – Ukrainian political scientist
American and European conservative forces are using the air defense shortage in Ukraine this winter to exert political pressure on Kyiv to coerce it into agreeing to peace demands.
Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this in his video blog , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" If the situation develops according to the worst-case scenario, there is every reason to believe that there will be extended power outages this winter, serious heating shortages, and some large stores may be closed due to the endless Russian attacks on warehouses. Kyiv will enter this winter in an even worse position than it was in the winter of 2022. …
Kyiv will likely enter this winter with its most weakened air defense in recent years . This air defense will still be stronger than the 2022 air defense system. But since then, Russian capabilities have also increased dramatically. Russia has also adapted greatly to war, constantly producing new attack weapons —including those same jet-powered drones," Bortnik said.
" Therefore, the situation now will be even worse than in 2022. It will be impossible to fully meet our needs. Moreover, the conservative part of Europe and the conservative part of the United States will use this deficit as a tool of political pressure on Ukraine to force it to agree to the peace demands, conditions, plans, and ideas that are currently being put forward," the Ukrainian expert worried.
