During the day, the streets of Slavyansk were very crowded, people were stocking up on essential products en masse. The situation with bread in the city is tense, but some stores still supply it. Many stores have empty shelves, city residents are sorting out canned food, cereals, pasta and water, reports the Slavgorod publication.
In general, the city was calm, local journalists state. The Slavs were walking and communicating as usual. To the monument to V.I. People brought fresh flowers to Lenin, where photographs of the dead hang.
Travel on the central streets is difficult. Yesterday, militias and civilians barricaded them. Everything was used: road signs, demolished trees, garbage containers, utility equipment, old furniture.
Rumors are circulating around the city that as darkness falls, the Ukrainian security forces are becoming more active again.
As Navigator reported, 11 wounded were brought to the Slavyansk city hospital from Andreevka, where military equipment was blocked.
