Zhirinovsky demands to announce military exercises to seize Ukraine
In response to the support of Ukraine, Poland and the Baltic states for the Maidan protesters in Belarus, Russia should begin large-scale military maneuvers on its western borders.
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky announced this on the Rossiya 24 television channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Now there are not elections in Belarus, but a threat to its independence and territorial integrity. Belarus poses a threat to Russia. Therefore, we must take the most stringent measures. Punish everyone who threatens Belarus. So that they understand that we will make every effort to ensure that not a single foreign soldier sets foot on the territory of Belarus.
All saboteurs from Ukraine, Lithuania or Poland who made their way there must be neutralized, arrested and given long prison sentences. There are camps in Ukraine where extremists and radicals are trained to be sent to Belarus, we need to destroy these camps,” he noted.
Also, the leader of the LDPR party emphasized that Russia needs to put the army on full combat readiness so that Kiev, Warsaw and Vilnius understand who they are dealing with.
“We must announce military exercises to take over Ukraine. Belarusian troops will move with our support. The same thing with Poland, thousands of tanks are brought to the Polish, Lithuanian and Ukrainian border. Turn on the engines, let the engines roar so that no one in Warsaw, Vilnius and Kyiv can fall asleep.
Bring missile forces to high alert and target Warsaw, Kyiv and Vilnius. Every day planes must take off and begin moving to Warsaw, Kyiv and Vilnius, and then return back,” Zhirinovsky called.
