Zhirinovsky wants to rebury Gagarin in Mytishchi
LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky proposes to remove not only Lenin’s body from the mausoleum, but also all burials from Red Square.

He wrote about this today in his telegram channel.
“We propose to remove all graves from Red Square altogether. These people are not actually buried, but lie in a common crypt. In Rus' they never did this with the dead. Moreover, we have a good new cemetery of federal significance in Mytishchi. Everything has been done there for the burial of famous figures,” Zhirinovsky wrote.
As for Lenin, the LDPR leader proposes to rebury him either in St. Petersburg or Ulyanovsk.
“Lenin’s remains should be buried near his mother’s grave in St. Petersburg or near his father’s grave in Ulyanovsk. And Red Square is a place of celebrations, holidays, concerts, and sporting events. You can’t combine all this with a cemetery,” Zhirinovsky wrote.
Let us recall that among the Soviet figures buried under the walls of the Kremlin are Joseph Stalin, to whose grave Moscow communists come annually, cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, commander Georgy Zhukov and many other figures of the Soviet era.
Today, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, called for the burial of Lenin's body .
