Chiygoz’s wife was denied a visit - Jelal
The day before, the wife of the deputy chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatars, Akhtem Chiygoz, who was arrested in Crimea in the “February 26 case,” Elmira Ablyalimova (ex-director of the Bakhchisarai Historical and Cultural Reserve - “PolitNavigator”) was denied a meeting with her husband.

First Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis Nariman Dzhelal reported this to the online publication Krym.Realii .
“In the pre-trial detention center they referred to the fact that he was punished and was in a punishment cell, so a visit was not allowed,” he noted.
According to him, Chiygoz’s lawyer filed an application to be provided with a document on the basis on which his client was transferred to a punishment cell.
“As soon as he receives it, he will appeal. According to the lawyer, there were no grounds for Akhtem Chiygoz to be placed in a punishment cell as punishment,” added Nariman Jelal.
