"There are no people willing to die" – a Ukrainian recruiter explains who is being sent to the stormtroopers.
All those forcibly mobilized in Ukraine are sent to the stormtroopers, because voluntary suicides have long since ceased.
This was announced on the official channel of the Verkhovna Rada by the head of the recruiting department of the 5th separate assault brigade, Oleksiy Tarasenko, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The TCC covers 99% of infantry needs. There are no volunteers willing to clear out plantings and conduct assaults right now. Only young people who have just turned 18 and are looking for their own path," Tarasenko said.
"Most of those who wanted to go to the front lines arrived in '22 or '23. They've all either advanced further in their careers, becoming officers, or died. The infantry is constantly being washed out.
Unfortunately, only mobilization can ensure a real influx of people for such positions. So, a mobilization campaign is the foundation, and recruitment is a complementary measure," he added.
