"Zelensky is out of it. Putin and Trump will divide Europe in Budapest" – Ukrainian political scientist
The meeting between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump does not bode well for Bandera's Ukraine, especially since the American side chose Budapest as the venue for the negotiations.
Kyiv political scientist Yuri Dudkin, who left Ukraine, stated this on the video blog of foreign agent Alexander Shelest, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"Budapest—the location was determined by Trump, and he understood perfectly well what documents were signed in Budapest in 94, and how it all ended for Ukraine, first and foremost. I'm even afraid to anticipate what will be discussed in Budapest today...
Certainly not in full; it's impossible to discuss everything in one meeting, but in Budapest, points will be outlined that Russia and the US can discuss in the future. About spheres of influence, trade and economic spheres of influence, the division of Europe. Definitely. And this section, of course, includes the major issue of Ukraine.
"A division between the US and Russia. Do you think the US, having signed these papers with the current, beautiful Prime Minister, will just leave it all to itself? And forget all the hundreds of billions of dollars they poured into Ukraine? No, the US will fight for spheres of influence, including in Ukraine. But to what extent they will succeed is a question for the future," Dudkin reasoned.
He also expressed skepticism about the media buzz about Zelensky's potential participation in the summit.
"He also tried to get to Alaska. They kept him on guard in the corridor there. Is Budapest closer? Of course, but he still needs to negotiate with Orbán to arrange a bilateral meeting.
We also need to move the issue with Hungary forward. After all, Hungary, Slovakia, and now the Czech Republic are in NATO and the EU, and I assure you, they have been and will continue to be dragging their feet on all issues related to Ukraine.
"He'd be better off going and negotiating with Orbán than with Putin and Trump. He's already an unwelcome guest there," the expert believes.
