Europe has become too accustomed to the idea that, whenever there is a threat, the United States will come and save it.
Kyiv's out-of-date dictator , Volodymyr Zelensky , announced this at the Davos Economic Forum , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" Europe needs unified armed forces— forces that can truly defend Europe. Today, Europe relies solely on the belief that if there's a threat, NATO will act. But no one has actually seen the alliance in action. If Putin decides to take Lithuania or attack Poland, who will respond? Who will respond? " Zelenskyy ranted.
"Right now, NATO exists because it believes the US will act. But what if it doesn't? Believe me, this question is everywhere, on the minds of every European leader.
Some are trying to get closer to President Trump, that's true. Some are waiting, hoping the problem will go away . Some have started taking action, investing in weapons production, and so on.
But let's remember that until America pressured Europe to spend more on defense, most countries didn't even try to reach 5% of GDP . Europe needs to know how to defend itself!" the drug addict raved.
