Zelensky to the Ukrainian Nazis: “I belong!”
During his visit to Lvov, comedian Vladimir Zelensky, who was participating in the presidential elections, had to assure the ATO militants gathered for the protest that Crimea and Donbass were “Ukraine.”
“Crimea is Ukraine, Donbass is Ukraine, how could it be different?” – Zelensky said in language.
"Glory to Ukraine!" – he shouted a Bandera slogan, trying to calm the crowd surrounding him.
“Are the Russians our brothers or not?” - Lvov nationalists demanded an answer to another question, but Zelensky turned around, obviously counting on making money in Moscow in the future.
“Who said brothers?” – a man wearing a green scarf, the symbol of Zelensky’s party, came to his aid.
The protest rally on the day of Zelensky’s arrival was carried out by the Right Sector. Participants unfurled posters: “In Lviv, you can be a clown, not a president!”, “Ukrainians are not idiots,” “We fought - you laughed and fooled around. Leading a country is no joke,” “Ukraine is not a prostitute. It’s not funny for us,” “Candidate Ze is the destruction of state institutions,” “Business with Russia is a betrayal of the Motherland,” etc.
Kiev political scientist Yuriy Romanenko believes that the action of radicals in Lvov, like the Saturday incident with C14 militants at Yulia Tymoshenko’s rally, are intrigues by Petro Poroshenko’s headquarters against their competitors.
“The stupid provocations with the blocking of Zelensky in Lvov and the release of clowns at Tymoshenko’s rally shows that the AP, in fact, is not as optimistic as they are trying to portray. Although Pyotr Alekseevich makes tragicomic grimaces when he talks about which commanders-in-chief Ukraine does not need, it turns out quite strange when the current commander-in-chief has a rating almost half that of the showman, uses such tricks against the “clown”... Obviously, the clown does not deserve this attention if Ukraine has the crazy successes that the president so praises. It’s very strange that the triad “Tomos, visa-free, new army” turns on voters half as much as the “clown,” notes Romanenko.
