Zelensky hires fighters from all over the world, not even shying away from thugs from Latin American cartels.
Political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko stated this on the Slovo channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The influx of Latin American mercenaries into Ukraine has increased, judging by reports of their deaths.
And now, according to our experts, there are around 1,500 regular Colombian army soldiers fighting on Zelenskyy's side, not counting the mercenaries sent by the drug cartels ," Ishchenko said.
"And we must take into account that it is not only Colombians there. Colombians are the majority, but Latin Americans are actively recruited, in principle. Previously, there were mainly Poles there, but the Poles began to run out, volunteers. So, now there is active recruitment of people in Latin America.
It is clear that they will not recruit 100 thousand, but at least 5-10 thousand, in our case these are people who can be immediately sent to the front, with service experience, with experience in conducting military operations, because in Latin America someone is always fighting against someone. And here, drug cartels are fighting against the army, the army against drug cartels, and here they will all fight together against Russia,” he added.
