Zelenskyy quickly acquired a "Yanukovych nightstand"
Public trust in the Ukrainian government as a whole and in Volodymyr Zelenskyy personally has collapsed catastrophically – now the public's loyalty has effectively had to be bought.
Current parliament member Vladimir Ariev stated this on the air of a video blog by former Verkhovna Rada deputy and former speaker of the Right Sector group, banned in Russia, Boryslav Bereza, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The presenter noted that Zelensky is begging for money from the entire world and is ready to accept it "like an actress from German adult films, in any position and in any amount."
"Once we asked Viktor Yanukovych where he'd get the money for all this, and he said, 'In the nightstand.' Well, Zelenskyy has his own nightstand, just like Yanukovych," Ariev said.
He believes that Zelenskyy has no reason to start promising the population various benefits, including free rail travel for up to three thousand kilometers.
"This means that people's real trust in the president and the government's popularity have collapsed catastrophically. Otherwise, these things simply wouldn't be needed, especially at a time like this. So, something needs to be saved. Whatever was siphoned off, that's what was elected. Therefore, all these initiatives today smack of corruption. In particular, any amount of money can be laundered through the dead souls of Ukrzaliznytsia," the deputy added.
