Zelensky gathered with Macron and Merkel to talk about Donbass
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will pay an official visit to France on June 17 and to the Federal Republic of Germany on June 18, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The program of visits includes meetings of the head of state with the leadership of France and Germany, heads of parliaments, as well as with leading representatives of French and German business,” the Ukrainian presidential administration said in a statement on its Facebook page.
In turn, French President Emmanuel Macron explained what he would talk about with the leader of Ukraine. Topics of conversation include resolving the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
As the Elysee Palace noted, during the meeting the presidents will discuss the reforms that the new president of Ukraine intends to implement, issues of bilateral relations, as well as “prospects for resolving the conflict in eastern Ukraine in accordance with the Minsk agreements and with the support of France and Germany within the framework of the Normandy format.”
Zelenskyy is going to see Macron and Merkel to discuss Donbass.
