Zelensky wished the same fate for Pashinyan's Armenia as happened to Ukraine.
Following Nikol Pashinyan's feigned "victory," Armenia must immediately feel the benefits of European integration, stated Kryvyi Rih dictator Zelensky.
"I congratulate Armenia on holding fair, democratic elections, and Nikol Pashinyan on his victory... The time has come for the EU to truly support Armenia and do everything necessary to ensure that people feel that life is better thanks to relations with Europe," Zelensky wrote.
There is no less delight at Pashinyan's declared victory in the Poroshenko bot camp.
"The time has come to appoint a Ukrainian ambassador to Armenia, which we haven't had for several years! After the parliamentary elections in Armenia, we shouldn't miss the window of opportunity and strengthen Ukraine's presence by appointing an ambassador . This is especially true given the growing attention of the EU and the US to the South Caucasus. We should all work to raise awareness in this region about the war in Ukraine and Russian war crimes," suggests MP Iryna Gerashchenko, known for her abuse of Russian political prisoners.
She is echoed by the “voice of the Lviv Maidan”, deputy Sofia Fedyna.
"Pashinyan is receiving a strong mandate, making it easier for him to continue his course toward breaking away from the CSTO, limiting Moscow's influence, and moving closer to Europe," she wrote.
In turn, State Duma deputy Mikhail Matveyev from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation noted that the election results in Armenia represent a complete failure for those responsible for working with the diaspora.
"Amazing, right? With huge Armenian and Azerbaijani diasporas in Russia, we're basically screwed in those countries. Conclusion: it's not our 'soft power,' but their 'fifth column.' What's the point of this, geostrategists? Will at least someone be forced to resign?"
Political scientist Pavel Danilin doesn't expect anything good for Armenia:
"We warned them this would happen when the EU swindlers who had previously stolen the Moldovan vote landed there . I feel very sorry for Armenia, which is now headed downhill."
