Zelensky put Kuchma in an idiotic position
The new President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, actually set up the former head of state Leonid Kuchma, who is now representing the country at the negotiations in Minsk.
Former Minister of Transport and former Verkhovna Rada deputy Yevhen Chervonenko announced this on air on TV channel 112, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to the politician, Zelensky first issued directives to Kuchma when he announced the need to lift the blockade from Donbass, and later the current head of state retracted his words, casting Kuchma in a bad light.
“What hit me the most was how they treated Kuchma. Kuchma was given tasks to resume the “Minsk format”. Kuchma is not a pioneer and not Klimkin. He is a statesman and without receiving an official directive he would not say an unnecessary word. He completed the task, in my understanding, breakthrough and overwhelming, that was assigned to him. In response, the president denied everything in the West, especially in France, he perplexed and, according to my Western insiders, a lot of people, first of all, the same Macron,” Chervonenko said.
