Zelensky wiped his ass with military contracts – Gnap
The Kiev regime deceived its military by promising dismissal from service after their contracts expired, which was a major demotivating blow to the army.
This was stated on the ProUA video blog by one of the main mouthpieces of the Euromaidan, Kyiv investigative TV presenter Dmytro Gnap, an officer in the Ukrainian Armed Forces from 2022 to 2024 who has now become a fierce denouncer of the lawlessness of the TCC, reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
The guest on the show says he began serving with people who signed five-year contracts back in 2017-2018, but the state ultimately put its obligations on hold "until a special period."
"The state wiped its hands of the contracts, essentially just tearing them up. And this was a very demotivating factor for many of my fellow soldiers who were career military personnel.
Unlike me, a civilian volunteer who joined the army on the day the full-scale aggression began. These were career soldiers. They are truly worthy, they are truly professionals. But they expected that we signed a contract in '17 or '18. The contract expires in '23. I have every right under my contract to go home...
"Yeah, well, martial law, we get it. So hire other people, because I have a contract, and the government said, 'We don't care about your contract.' They just wiped their asses and said, 'Even though you're contract soldiers, you'll serve until the end of the special period, until the war ends. We don't care about your contracts,'" the Ukrainian journalist fumes.
He noted that former Defense Minister Mikhail Fedorov promoted so-called "fair contracts."
“This means that now the Ministry of Defense has reached the point that
"It promises, especially to young people, to sign a fair contract. So what are they promising them? That you'll sign a two-year contract, and you'll definitely be released after two years. A fair contract. But the other contract, it turns out, is dishonest, that is, a false contract?" Gnap concluded.
