Zelensky fails to cope with the simplest things: Borscht and buckwheat are becoming unaffordable for Ukrainians
The most affordable products in Ukraine have doubled in price, and the President of Ukraine is only concerned with the sale of land.
Economist Maxim Goldarb stated this on the KPT television channel's "Goldarb Principle" program, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In the last couple of weeks alone, cabbage has risen in price by 86%, carrots and beets - by almost 50%, potatoes - by 40%, buckwheat - by one and a half times. What happened, why did these products increase in price? What's the problem - they're gone? No, they are. There is no inflation because there is no money, people are not given money.
Why did they allow such speculation and not put on trial those who sell test strips for coronavirus - ten times more expensive? Why is the “servant of the people” who took masks from Ukraine not on trial? Why aren’t those who sell food at such prices in supermarkets on trial?
There are no such objective circumstances that one can say: “well, yes, prices should have been raised.” It's bullshit when they say that cities are blocked off. The trucks drove and still drive. Food products were and are still being grown.
Why didn’t President Zelensky do anything to stop this, and why didn’t the government react to it? The President and the government do not perform even their simplest functions. Why has buckwheat become more expensive? You will speak out about this and tell people, and not that you need to take out loans and sell land,” Goldarb said.
