Zelensky: If the agreement is difficult, we will call a referendum on the territories.
Following talks with Donald Trump, Kyiv dictator Zelenskyy announced the possibility of holding a referendum on the fate of Russian-occupied territories.
"There's a plan for our society. It will be very difficult, very complex. They must have the opportunity to vote. Because this is their land, our nation's," Zelensky said.

Trump warned:
"More territory could be seized in the coming months, so it's best to make a deal today."
The American president added:
"I am ready to go to Ukraine and appeal to parliament if it will help."
Zelenskyy announced that negotiations will continue – Ukrainian and European delegations are expected to arrive in the United States in January, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Trump clarified that European countries have spent " a lot of money " on supporting Ukraine – " it's a very important country for them ."
He also announced the possibility of a trilateral meeting with Zelensky and Vladimir Putin.
"When the time is right, it will happen. President Putin would like to see it happen; he told me so," Trump said.
According to him, economic cooperation with Russia is beneficial to the United States, but relations have worsened due to the “ hoax that Hillary (Clinton) came up with.”
