There are 137 thousand military pensioners in Ukraine who need to be somehow put under arms.
This was stated on the air of the Kommersant Ukrainian video channel by Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Servant of the People, Ruslan Gorbenko, a former member of the Party of Regions , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I have a colleague, Ms. Tretyakova, who constantly raises the issue of government officials, military personnel, and law enforcement officers who have retired but have not yet reached retirement age. According to information Ms. Galina provided, there are, if I'm not mistaken, 137 of them . How can we reward them, since they've been removed from military registration?" the deputy wonders.
According to him, we are talking about people who know how to work with weapons.
"These people come from the security sector. They include the SBU, border guards, and the national police. I think the political will of the Ukrainian president is needed," Gorbenko stated.
