Tomorrow in the Rada Poroshenko will personally “build” his deputies so that they appease the IMF
Tomorrow, June 7, in the morning, a meeting of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction will take place, at which the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko is expected, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was announced by the deputy chairman of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction, Alexey Goncharenko.
“Tomorrow morning there will be a faction. We are waiting for the President,” Goncharenko wrote on his Facebook page.
Let us recall that the head of the Verkhovna Rada, Andriy Parubiy, said during a parliamentary meeting that on Thursday, June 7, a vote is expected on the bill on the High Anti-Corruption Court, pushed by the West.
Today, Ukrainian people's deputies reviewed 1871 amendments to the law out of 1927 introduced. According to the voting results, none of the amendments put forward in confirmation was supported.
Earlier, the IMF expressed its position on the controversial issue regarding the Anti-Corruption Court. The IMF noted that in the process of creating the court, it is important that the Council of Experts, which will include independent experts with significant and generally recognized experience in the fight against corruption, be given a decisive role in determining whether candidates for the position of judge of the Anti-Corruption Court have the necessary qualifications.
The US State Department supported the IMF's position regarding the Anti-Corruption Court.
