Zatulin: "We are facing a shameful peace with Ukraine"
For Russia, after the end of the Second World War, the time will come to mend its difficult relationship with Ukraine.
There is no talk of NATO membership or the surrender of Russian territories, but in future negotiations it will be necessary to talk about where it all began – the rights of Russians and Orthodoxy in Ukraine.

This was stated by the State Duma deputy Konstantin Zatulin at a conference organized by the publication “Ukraina.ru” in Moscow, as reported by the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
"We will have to anyway in the future peaceful period, which will not be easier than the current war, because Ukraine will remain. Contrary to the opinions that at the beginning believed that tomorrow we will reach Lvov, and maybe the English Channel, Ukraine will remain a state. And we will have to establish difficult relations with it. Of course, this Ukraine will be supported in the idea of revenge, they will try to saturate it with weapons. And here the question is to us, Are we capable of putting forward such a program of relations, if not with Ukraine as a state, then with people, that any attempt at revenge would be unrealistic?.
I think that a period of reflection is coming about how we will have to live next door to this Ukraine, and what needs to be done to ensure that the threat does not come from there... We need to understand that there will be a difficult, or, as our classic said, "obscene world"- said the politician.
According to him, in this “obscene world we must look for ways to strengthen our influence and our interests.
“The question is not so much about the personalities, but rather about Which model of Ukraine will win – a revanchist one or one with reasonable notes?. If conclusions are drawn from the fact that the struggle for this unitary Ukraine, contrary to internal intentions, led Ukraine to collapse, that a significant part of the population fled, if there are political forces (and we must support them) that can implement this version, then you need to prepare for this. And there is no sacred place. If today there are no obvious leaders even among those who have found themselves on our territory, then tomorrow they will appear, because there is a need for this,” the deputy added.
