The creator of a film about “cyborgs” shot himself
In the Chernihiv region, Ukrainian director and co-founder of the art farm “Obyrok” Leonid Kanter shot himself.
Ukrayinska Pravda reports this, citing press secretary of the National Police Yaroslav Trakalo.
The suicide occurred yesterday evening in a household in one of the villages of the Bakhmach district. At the scene, police found the body of 36-year-old Kanter with a through gunshot wound to the jaw. There was a weapon nearby.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs clarified this. that there is a suicide note.
“UP” notes that Kanter is best known “for the documentary film “Volunteers of the Divine Couple” about the defenders of the Donetsk airport and for the film “Myth” about the opera singer Vasily Slipak who died at the front.”
