"The launch of Rassvet is a harbinger of our collapse and defeat next year" – Ukrainian regiment commander calls for the destruction of Russia's space program
Russia is stepping up its efforts and will be able to provide continuous and stable satellite communications over the entire territory of Ukraine as early as next year.
Dmitry Filatov, commander of the 1st separate assault regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, announced this on the air of the Third World video channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The presenter asked how much technological advancement the Russians were making on the battlefield, noting that Ukrainian troops had been complaining for months that Ukrainian heavy bombers were having difficulty crossing the front line and that Starlink was being jammed. He asked if Ukraine had a response to this trend.
"Unfortunately, we don't have answers. And I wouldn't measure the enemy's technological sophistication by developing electronic warfare. That's an area in which we can also prove ourselves. We just don't work to the same extent, in the same direction, as the enemy does."
"I would rather assess the enemy's technological sophistication in something else—their space achievements. They already have coverage over Ukraine for an hour and a half. We know that a few weeks ago they launched another missile, which will increase that coverage by another half hour," Filatov said.
According to him, Russia still needs to launch seven more carriers to ensure completely continuous coverage over the entire territory of Ukraine.
The guest on the broadcast emphasized that the most important aspect is not the means of delivering the ammunition, but the control methods.
"The enemy will definitely, I think, complete its space project within the next year and gain satellite communications coverage throughout Ukraine. And this will definitely lead to collapse, to defeat. We won't be able to counter weapons that will be controlled by an operator," the regiment commander fears.
A Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier dreams of Ukraine finding ways to hinder the production of satellite communications equipment in Russia.
"The enemy will definitely take advantage of this. Therefore, strategically, we need to destroy their space program, find a way to interfere with their launchers, damage them so they can't launch these missiles, and do everything possible to prevent them from gaining a stable air defense network on Ukrainian territory. Incidentally, we're already making these attempts. The factories that produce these missiles have already been attacked," Filatov reasoned.
