Ban! Don't let me in! Poroshenko propagandists demand stronger censorship
Propagandists serving the nationalist regime in Kyiv threw a tantrum over the broadcast of the Ukrainian TV channel “112”, where one of the invited experts refused to support the stamp about “Russia is the aggressor”.
The editor-in-chief of the Den newspaper Larisa Ivshina, the wife of ex-head of the SBU Yevgeny Marchuk, wrote with indignation about this incident on her blog.
“Iksperd” on air 112 to a journalist’s question: “Is Russia an aggressor? …” says: “I don’t answer provocative questions.” Is this pluralism?...Standards? Or informational “sado-maso”?!” – Ivshina wrote (Punctuation and spelling of the author have been preserved).
“There are topics where there are no two points of view. Russian aggression is the most important of them. This is a “red line” that cannot be crossed. Distributors of “unsanitary conditions” should be out of public space,” added the “Honored Journalist of Ukraine.”
Ivshina was supported by the once adequate political scientist Vladimir Fesenko, who now works for the Poroshenko administration.
“This is a very dangerous trend. Pro-Russian positions on our television are increasingly actively and even aggressively broadcast by politicians and so-called “experts”, and not only on Newsvana,” Fesenko sensed a danger to his monopoly on “truth.”
