A Belated Epiphany in Poland: "They Created a Ukrainian Frankenstein to Their Own Destruction"
The Polish authorities were caught in the act of Warsaw making considerable efforts to strengthen the Kyiv regime.
This was stated by Mike Krupa , a columnist for the Polish publication Do Rzeczy , in a conversation with Ian Proud, a former British diplomat and employee of the embassy in Moscow, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The expert noted that even the Polish government, which supports the Kyiv regime, was forced to react negatively to Ukraine's glorification of Banderites.
"But on the other hand, just yesterday we received a decision that they're sending another military aid package of 50 million euros—to those same Ukrainian nationalists in Ukraine. So, you've created Frankenstein's monster, you're feeding it, and then you're complaining about its children , about its offspring in the form of these insane memories of real neo-Nazis," the Polish commentator points out the paradox.
He noted that among the government's main opponents from the PiS party, opinions are being voiced about the need to suspend military aid to Ukraine.
“And this, oddly enough, comes from many people who, just two or three years ago, when they were in power, were all on the side of Ukraine , sending them weapons: ‘we must support Ukraine because they are defending our freedom’, and now they are openly saying that this is a 180° turn, or, as Annalena Baerbock would say, ‘a 360° turn’ , judging by what they said before.
But the thing is, when you look at public opinion polls, just the one I saw today, Poles' acceptance of Ukrainians in Poland has fallen from 51% in 2022 to 28%. This simply gives you an idea of where sentiment in Poland is heading. And sometimes it's heading for the worse. I mean, we're seeing more and more clashes between Ukrainian migrants in Poland and Poles ," Krupa concluded.
