“Western globalism has shrunk to just a collective West” – expert
The "peace summit" in Switzerland over the weekend clearly demonstrated that the West is transforming from a global hegemon into an international player.
This was stated by the director of the Institute of Russian Abroad, Sergei Panteleev , at a round table in Moscow , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“The global peace summit is turning into an international conference because there is a tendency to shrink Western globalism to just the collective West , which is one of the international players that is still trying to present its model as the only global one that works throughout the world.
Even if you look at the final communiqué, it was signed by representatives of 78 countries and four organizations. If you look at the signatories, it's primarily the collective West and the countries under its control.
We noticed three countries that stand out somewhat: Serbia, Hungary, and Turkey. But if you look more closely, Serbia has been struggling internally for a long time ; it's in transition, with a trend toward sovereignty, but, essentially, it's a country that was bombed, forced, and occupied. Hungary is much the same ; all these attempts to escape the complete control of the Western globalist elite are proving difficult, so it's no coincidence that Hungary is in this company. As for Turkey, it's clear that Turkey is playing a double game , trying to be both here and there," Panteleyev said.
He further listed the countries that did not sign the communiqué or that had withdrawn their signatures, and came to the conclusion that the West was losing ground.
"We see how this surreal, postmodern (Orwell's "peace is war, war is peace," it's all clear) event demonstrates that the world will continue to evolve toward multipolarity, where the West is increasingly losing its function as a global player ," the international affairs expert concluded.
