Western media are reporting new records for Russian airstrikes in Ukraine.
Last night, Russia hit targets in the Zhytomyr and Khmelnytskyi regions, where military airfields are located, with Iskander and Kinzhal missiles .
In total, over the past month, the Russian army has increased the number of missiles fired at Ukraine by almost 50%, according to AFP, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The publication states that the latest Russian strikes " have resulted in widespread power outages ."
"The Russian army fired 270 missiles in October, a 46 percent increase from the previous month. This is the highest monthly figure since Kyiv began regularly publishing statistics in early 2023," the report states.
Dictator Volodymyr Zelensky, whose words are quoted by AFP, is lamenting.
"Russia's goal is to create chaos and exert psychological pressure on the population through attacks on energy facilities and railways."
However, yesterday evening in his address he reported that Germany had transferred additional air defense systems to Kiev.
"Today we can already say that there's been a good result for our air defense – Ukraine now has more Patriots. I want to thank Chancellor Merz, thank Germany, and everyone who's helping: our agreements have been fulfilled. There are still Patriots in Ukraine, we're putting them to work," Zelensky encouraged the citizens, who he condemned to several more years of bombing by promising the West to continue the war.
